Bill Pritchett of Peachtree City gave blood Wednesday afternoon in a blood drive for the American Red Cross at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Pritchett donated using a special machine that separates the needed red cell product and returns iron back to the donor. That system provides two units worth of blood, but it is only available for donors with B and O blood types who must also meet a minimum weight criteria.
