The final two gospel sings for 2005 at the old train depot in Grantville are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 and 26, at 7 p.m. The special night will be African-American night. Friday night’s sing will feature the Rev. Jerry Yates, pastor of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church on Summers-McKoy Road in Newnan; the Rev. Danny Spencer, pastor of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Franklin; the White family from Grantville; Marie Bulloch of Warm Springs; the Ladies of Grace from LaGrange; and Steve Presly of LaGrange. Saturday night’s sing will feature the Burning Bush from Atlanta; Dan and Dora from Grantville; the Jehovah Baptist Church quartet from Grantville; Tony Nalls from Grantville; and Johnny Nalls from Newnan.
