New Kroger opens in eastern Coweta

Kroger held a grand opening for a new and enhanced store at 1751 Newnan Crossing Boulevard East.

Representatives from Kroger held a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Dec. 14 and presented checks to local Newnan schools. The store offers a variety of services to Newnan residents. Customers can now look forward to the convenience of having the following in easy reach:
•Starbucks.
•Kroger Fuel Center.
•Soup bar.
•Cheese Shoppe island.
•Expanded Kitchen and Office
•Best Bank.
•Drive-thru pharmacy.
•Focus on Freshness produce department.

“Kroger has been a member of the Newnan community since the late 1930s and we are proud to bring this new store to the community,” says Glynn Jenkins, Director of Communications and Public Relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “Newnan residents have been enthusiastic Kroger supporters of our other two stores in the community and we are confident this new store will offer convenience and a selection of products and services to support their lifestyles.”
