Fayetteville First Baptist Church recognized two ladies last Sunday during the annual church Thanksgiving meal, both celebrating their 100th birthday. Mildred Gwin turned 100 on Nov. 6 and Mrs. Ruby Huckaby will be 100 on Dec. 27. Both live in Fayetteville. Dessert for the dinner was “birthday cake” in their honor. More than 400 people attended the dinner and celebration.
