Fannie Gresham Sharp, 96, Fayette County, died Oct. 9, 2005. She was born June 23, 1909 in Meriwether County. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Services were at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Kitchens, and the Rev. Dan Houston officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. Survivors include a son, William Thomas Sharp Jr., Fayette County; a daughter, Betty S. Latham, Fayette County; grandchildren, Judy Nicoletti, Gina Heaton, Mike Latham, Donna Smith, and Keith Sharp; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
