• Air Force Airman 1st Class Christopher A. Baldwin has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. Baldwin is the son of Gary and Eileen Baldwin of Peachtree City, Ga. The airman graduated in 2000 from Starr’s Mill High School, Fayetteville, and received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, Ga.

• Army Spec. Donald R. Guillory has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman. He is the son of Glenda Guillory of Fayetteville, Ga., and Donald Guillory of Madison, Miss. The specialist is a 1996 graduate of Mount Zion High School, Jonesboro, Ga., and earned a master's degree in 2006 from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro.

• Army Spec. Douglas D. Kornacki has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Kornacki's father, Daniel Kornacki, resides in Fayetteville, Ga. The specialist received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from The Citadel, Charleston, S.C.
