Mr. and Mrs. David L. Farley of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Colleen Lynn Farley, to Alan Grant Reed II, son of Dr. Sheila Reed and the late Mr. Alan Reed of Carrollton.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fayette County High School in Fayetteville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of West Georgia were she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is presently employed as a teacher at Whitewater High School.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Bowden High School in Bowden. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Oglethorpe University were he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is currently employed as a teacher in Carroll County.

The wedding is set for June 16, 2007, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with a reception following at the Wyndam Peachtree City.
