Club collects clothes for AADD clothing driveTue, 12/19/2006 - 1:07pm

On Saturday, Dec. 2, Tsunami Volleyball Inc., a non-profit girls’ Junior Olympic volleyball club based on the south side of Atlanta, teamed with the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities (AADD) to bring some holiday warmth and cheer to those in need. Over 50 players, coaches, and parents of the Tsunami family donated hundreds of bags of new and used clothing to the annual AADD clothing drive.
Tsunami brings together athletes from Landmark Christian, McIntosh, Northgate, Sandy Creek, Stars Mill and other local schools to compete across the nation. Tsunami emphasizes the spirit of volleyball by developing technical skills, cooperation, and teamwork. As a club, Tsunami strives to instill exemplary values, including community service, in its teams that transcend volleyball.
