• Deante Battle, a Starr’s Mill graduate at Northwestern University, had some playing time in the Wildcats 38-21 win over Illinois. • Brian Brown, a Sandy Creek graduate, got some playing time for the University of Delaware in their 38-13 win over Villanova. • Chris Capps, a Landmark Christian graduate at the University of Alabama, started at left tackle in their 28-18 loss to Auburn. • John Deraney, a Fayette County graduate, kicked a field goal and three extra points for NC State in their 24-3 win over Middle Tennessee State. • Andrew Gardner, a Sandy Creek graduate, started at left tackle for Georgia Tech in their 14-10 win over Miami. • Michael Gates, a Sandy Creek graduate, got some playing time for Mississippi State in their 44-10 loss to Arkansas. • Kedric Golston, a Sandy Creek graduate, had two tackles in Georgia’s 45-13 win over Kentucky. • Reuben Houston, a Starr’s Mill graduate, had one assist in Georgia Tech’s 14-10 win over Miami. • Chris James, a Starr’s Mill graduate, kicked five extra points for Western Kentucky in their 38-35 loss to Florida International. • Calvin Johnson, a Sandy Creek graduate, had six catches for 89 yards, in Georgia Tech’s 14-10 win over Miami. • Alex Mortensen, a Landmark Christian graduate, threw one pass for five yards in Arkansas’s 44-10 win over Mississippi State. login to post comments |
