James Thomas Bullard, 93, Fife Community, Fayette County, died Dec. 2, 2006. He was born April 25, 1913 in College Park. He was the son of James Thomas and Ozora Harper Bullard Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen"Kitty" Rogers Bullard, whom he married on Aug. 1, 1931, a great-grandchild,Andrew River Ouzts, and two sisters. He and his wife first lived in Sylvan Hills and then moved to Fife, where they lived for more than 40 years. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He loved horses, especially his own racking horse, "Ted". He enjoyed fishing, traveling with Kitty in their motor home, hunting, and gardening. His 1931 Model A Coupe was his prized possession and is still running. He worked at the Atlanta General Depot and then became Civilian Transportation Manager for 3rd United States Army where he retired after 30 years. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment was at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include children, Dr. J. Roger and Gloria Bullard, Augusta, Trahlyta B. and Gary Miller, Fairburn, Kathie B. and David Cochran, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jaye B. Greene, Paige Bullard, Todd Miller, Barbara B. Hawkins, Whitney C. Shoemaker, and Ashley C. Vybiral; great-grandchildren, Taylor Cochran, Sophie Bullard, Chloe Miller, Henry Hawkins, Barrett Cochran, Chandler Ouzts, Juliette Vybiral, Olivia Vybiral, Isabella Vybiral, and Shelby Shoemaker.
