Holiday Helpers needs your help

Fayette Holiday Helpers is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping DFACS families with toys and clothes for Christmas. They interview families sent with the proper paperwork from DFACS, Real Life Center, and the Fayette Samaritans, for instance.

They have a need for donated new, unused books; new, unwrapped toys; and new clothes. It’s especially in need of teenage clothes. They service children from birth to age 18, and the disabled, as well as senior citizens over the age of 65.

By Dec. 25, they will take care of over 600 families. Besides bringing items to their temporary office, there are boxes stationed at fire departments, Eckerd, Partner’s Pizza, churches, and Ultimate Fitness Center.

They are located on Ga. Highway 314, next door to Belles and Beaus. Mike Faulkner donated this facility for the second year. They are open 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. The phone is 678-817-0004.
