As it embarks on the most growth-oriented period in the company’s history, Doug Mitchell, founder of Pathway Communities has promoted Peggy Sullivan from vice president of marketing to company president and Beth Thibo has been promoted to chief financial officer and general manager.

Sullivan is no stranger to Pathway Communities and the Atlanta real estate market. Earlier this month she was recognized by the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association as the Marketing Director of the Year and has been with Pathway for 25 years, guiding the company’s nationally recognized sales and marketing efforts.

“Peggy has a thorough understanding of every aspect of the real estate market and a unique gift of energizing employees and producing big results,” says Doug Mitchell, Pathway Communities founder. “She has proven that she can make things happen on a large scale, and she is perfectly suited to take our company to the next level.”

Beth Thibo, a seasoned, eight-year veteran of Pathway Communities, will assume the role of General Manager along with her current position as Chief Financial Officer. In addition to managing all financial matters of the company, Thibo will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to land acquisition, including supervising the due diligence procedures and the creation of conceptual plans for each new prospective community site.

In announcing the promotion of Thibo, Doug Mitchell expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “This position is important, and Beth has been instrumental in the success of Pathway Communities. Her track record is impeccable and she will be a key asset as we move forward in creating more communities across the Atlanta area.”

Mitchell believes the two promotions position Pathway to leverage its growth and success throughout the Atlanta region.

“We have assembled a team of industry all-stars that have the depth of experience that rival any real estate company in the Southeast,” said Mitchell. Just as importantly, Mitchell asserts, “Peggy and Beth share the company’s vision for multifaceted residential development and they also have a firm grasp on the broader issues of overall business development, land acquisition and customer satisfaction.”
