Kyle Grisamore, a third grader at Braelinn Elementary School, is the top seller for Boy Scout Pack 409's annual fund raiser selling Trail's End popcorn. The fund raiser takes place each year in September and October and 70 percent of the money raised stays locally within the Flint River Council, which includes Coweta, Fayette, Upson, Pike, Spalding, Henry, Butts and Lamar counties plus Camp Thunder, while 40 percent of the funds raised stay within the pack. The money raised helps with camping trips, camps, awards, the Pinewood Derby (building your own car to race) and the Raingutter Regatta (building your own boat and racing it). Pack 409 also donates to Friends in Scouting which helps underprivileged boys wanting to be in scouts. The 75 scout pack sold over $16,000 worth of popcorn this year, with Grisamore leading the pack with $1,855 in sales. Pack 409 is sponsored by the American Legion #105 and meets at Braelinn Elementary School in Peachtree City. Grisamore is the son of Charles and Holly Grisamore. Pictured is John Macke, Asst.
