WaterCrest at Brooks Plantation is the newest development in the small Fayette County community of Brooks. Built and developed by David East and Mike Daughtry of Hilpine Builders, WaterCrest at Brooks Plantation features home sites of five or more acres with gorgeous hardwoods, breath-taking views and several home sites on the waterfront.

Daughtry, the president of Hilpine Builders, has been active in the construction industry since his youth in Augusta. After graduating the University of Georgia, Mike started a full-service landscape company in Peachtree City, an experience which gives Hilpine Builders a unique advantage, offering exterior appeal to compliment the interior architecture of each custom home built.

Currently serving as president of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, Mike also works in magazine publishing. He publishes 20 South Magazine, a publication designed to assist new home buyers south of Atlanta’s I-20.
Hilpine Builders selected Prudential Georgia Realty sales associate Amy Patton to handle the sales and marketing of WaterCrest. Amy began her real estate career with a bang, selling nearly $5 million in real estate her first year in the business, an accomplishment some veteran real estate agents can’t achieve in a calendar year.
Her annual sales rank Amy in the top 8 percent of the 64,000 Prudential sales associates doing business in North America. She is also a certified Fine Homes Specialist.

“These are amazing pieces of property that are fast disappearing in Fayette County,” explained Realtor Amy Patton, who also had the honor of naming WaterCrest. “These home sites, especially the lakefront sites, will be in heavy demand.”
WaterCrest at Brooks Plantation is currently offering these oversized sites in a tranquil setting with pricing from $170,000 to $395,000. Buyers can bring their own builder or have Hilpine Builders, a team with more than 50 years’ combined experience, build their dream home.

Patton is currently offering an incentive for home site buyers to meet with Hilpine Builders for a pre-construction consultation. Once this meeting is completed, they will receive a $500 American Express gift card.

Patton has also added a unique feature to her web site, www.amypattonproperties.com, where potential buyers can click on any WaterCrest home site to access readily available property plats. Plats are available for viewing and printing.

In addition, Amy Patton has listed the existing home on the property, which features six bedrooms, an in-law suite with private kitchen, a finished terrace level and more than 8,000 square feet of space.

This spacious, traditional home is custom built with numerous upgrades and sits on an 8-acre waterfront lot.

To visit WaterCrest at Brooks Plantation, take Georgia 85 south, turning left on the Hwy. 85 connector. Go through the town of Brooks. At stop sign, continue straight ahead and WaterCrest will be approximately three miles on the left.
