Sarah Louise Turner, 88, Palmetto, died Nov. 29, 2006. She was born Nov. 20,1918 in Fayette County, daughter of George Jerome and Sallie Teoria Jones Stinchcomb. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Turner Sr.,and brothers, Wendell E. Stinchcomb, and James E. Stinchcomb. Memorial services were at Holly Hill Funeral Home, Fairburn, with the Rev. Dr. Gene Tyre officiating. Survivors include sons, Bill Turner, and Jerry Turner; daughters, Jane Strickland, and Trudy Turner; and six grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Holly Hill Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
