Should anybody be surprised that the jolly old elf arrives in a golf cart to kick off the city’s tree lighting ceremony Saturday? A program of Christmas carols at the city’s amphitheater preceded the bearded one’s signature arrival in a cart instead of a sleigh at City Hall.
