Mr. and Mrs. William Alan Henry of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Renee Henry, to J.J. Hollie, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hollie of Henderson, Texas.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry of Wilmington, Del. and Ms. Ocilla Barfield of Blue Ridge. She was graduated from McIntosh High School in 1995 and earned a degree in operations management from Auburn University, Auburn, Ala., in 1999. Currently she is a sixth grade math teacher for the Lufkin Independent School District in Lufkin, Texas.

The groom-elect was graduated in 1987 from Bartlett High School, Anchorage, Alaska, and received a B.A. in political science from Pacific University, Forest Grove, Ore., in 1991. Currently he is employed with Consolidated Communications as a product manager.

A December wedding will be held in Atlanta.
