Peachtree City Police said the former boyfriend of a Peachtree City woman ransacked her apartment and a separate apartment belonging to an acquaintance. Police have arrested James Steward, 32, of Loganville, reporting that items found in his apartment had been taken from both of the burglarized apartments, one located on Hyacinth Lane and the other on Barberry Lane. Both victims said water had been poured over their televisions and other electronic items, police said. One of the victims also said bleach was poured throughout her apartment and on her clothing, police said. When police executed the search warrant on Steward’s home on Michael’s Creek Way in Loganville, he wasn’t on the scene, but when he arrived he was quickly taken into custody with help from the Gwinnett County Police Department. Steward has been charged with making harassing communications, stalking, criminal damage to property and two counts of burglary. login to post comments |
