At Landmark Christian School’s Peachtree City campus, elementary science teacher Diane Calsbeek has been named a recipient of the Bright Ideas Grant through Coweta-Fayette EMC. Calsbeek’s proposal, Lungs for Life, received full funding at $1500. Calsbeek will use the funds to purchase a model of the human torso, along with slides of diseased and healthy lungs, to teach the dangers of smoking and other health related units. Photo/Special.
