Helen Marie Treas Hays, 86, Fayetteville, formerly of College Park, died Nov. 26, 2006. She was born Aug. 4, 1920 in Brewers, Ky., daughter of Joseph and Roberts Treas. She was preceded in death by her eight siblings. She enjoyed many travels with her husband. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Forest Lawn, College Park. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Frank Hays, retired from Delta Airlines; sons, Gary Hays, and Lewis Hays; and grandchildren, Eric, Alan, Stefanie, Brian, and Mark. The family wishes to thank the many friends who supported her as she battled Alzheimer's, including neighbors, members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Delta Airlines friends, members of the Crossroads Garden Club and her bridge club.
