Christ’s Church invites kids to ‘Christmas Adventure’

Christ’s Church at Whitewater invites all children 3 years old through fifth grade to their third annual “Kids’ Christmas Adventure” on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The free event is designed for parents to spend a “day out,” while their children enjoy a fun-filled atmosphere of games, crafts, music, stories, and activities. Children will experience what it was like to be a part of the Christmas story as they visit a live nativity and meet some of the people who were present at Jesus’ birth. Each child will have his or her photo taken at the nativity.

“Kid’s Christmas Adventure is our gift to the community,” says Tina Parker, children’s minister. “We want to express God’s love by helping families as they prepare to enjoy this Christmas season.”

Kid’s Christmas Adventure will be staffed by experienced children’s workers from the church and preschool. Lunch and a snack are included.

Limited space is available and early registration is encouraged.

To register your child, contact the church office, 770-461-1487, or download a form online at www.ccwhitewater.com. Registration is also available the day of the event from 9-9:30 a.m.

The program concludes at 4:30 p.m although a child may be picked up by a parent or guardian at any time during the day.

Christ’s Church at Whitewater is on Ga. Hwy. 85 South, approximately 4.5 miles south of the courthouse, across from Whitewater Middle School.
