Haley Elizabeth Thaxton and Michael Patrick Gainor were married Sept. 30, 2006, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Tyrone. Father Victor Galier conducted the ceremony. The reception followed at the J.B. Fuqua rooftop pavilion of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Building in Atlanta.

The bride wore a handmade blush dupioni silk gown, adorned with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Thaxton of Peachtree City, the bride is a graduate of Auburn University. She earned her master’s degree at South University in Savannah and is employed as a physician’s assistant with Southern Orthopedic Specialists at Piedmont Hospital.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gainor of Minneapolis, Minn. He is a graduate of Auburn University and currently is employed with Penske Truck Leasing.

The couple honeymooned in Paris, France, and now reside in Midtown Atlanta.
