Help military’s children have a good ChristmasTue, 11/21/2006 - 4:17pm

Embracing Military Families is beginning its annual Christmas fund drive. Contributions of checks, toys and bicycles provide much-needed Christmas cheer to the children of our service men and women. I founded Embracing Military Families two years ago, after having worked for several years to brighten the hearts of service children whose parents are either deployed, or are facing financial hardship. To date, through our efforts, we have served over 2,000 children with our Christmas and Easter donations. I am asking you to help me put smiles on the faces of these wonderful children, who in their small way, are also serving our great nation. Won’t you please consider a monetary donation, or if you prefer, a donation of new toys or bicycles? Your donations can either be mailed to me, or dropped off at my house or at any of the Peachtree City fire stations. My address is 202 Panstone Drive, Peachtree City, and my phone number is 770-487-0672. Please make your checks out to Embracing Military Families. All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support, and for helping us to make 2006 the merriest of Christmases for these worthy children. God bless you always. Cathy McMullen |
