The combined offices of Peachtree City businesses Uniglobe Accent Travel, Inc. and Armstrong Smith Planning Group, LLC all made donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on Tuesday, Oct. 24. To draw more attention to this special day everyone wore pink and pink refreshments were served. A total of $468 was raised for breast cancer research through the combined efforts of these two offices. A visitor, Mary Anne Schaapman, chose Mike Presley as the winner of the “wear something pink” contest because he proudly wore a hot pink polo shirt to commemorate the day. Participants were Marcia and Jim Cole, Paula Preti, Glenda and Mike Presley, Cheri Ingram, Jae Fraser, Tina Thomas, Terri McGuire, Elaine Pierce of Uniglobe Accent Travel and Paula Hutcheson and Phyllis Goodman of Armstrong Smith. login to post comments |
