Eleanor Alice Stubbs, 78, Fayetteville, died Nov. 19,2006. She was born Jan. 10, 1928 in Fayette County, daughter of Martin L. and Kattie Drennan Stubbs. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. E. McKown, and a sister, Sally Avera. Graveside services were at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Wally Woodcock officiating. Survivors include sisters, Evelyn Wallace, Fayetteville, and Ruby Kitchens, Ocilla; nephews, Roger Wallace, and David Avera; nieces, Jennifer Reese, Teri Garner, Elaine Paul, Alicia Handley, Karen Wilson, and Ramona Harrell. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
