Myrtle Stubbs Long, 89, Fayetteville, died Nov. 11, 2006. She was born Dec. 27, 1916 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierce Long, and a son, Donald Long. Graveside services were at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, with the Rev. Tom Daughter officiating. Survivors include a sons, Garey Long, and Mike and Joyce Long, all of Fayetteville; daughters, Brenda Dechert, and Betty Jo Atkins, both of Griffin; a daughters-in-law, Elaine Long, Fairburn; a sister-in-law, Ruth Stubbs, Hiram; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
