Hazel Maddox Schell, 87, Peachtree City, died Nov. 7, 2006. She was born Dec. 24, 1918 in Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schell Sr., and a son, Dr. John Schell Jr. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tom Roan officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include a son, Jim and Gail Schell, Fayetteville; a daughter-in-law, Janice Schell, Fairburn; grandchildren, Shannon Schell, Chris Schell, Roy and Ida Schell, and Stephen Schell; a great-granddaughter, Emily Schell; nephews, Rodney Schell, and Phil Schell; and nieces, Linda Florreich, Diane Clausen, and Deborah Lindamood. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
