Harmel Tibbetts, 68, Fayetteville, died Oct. 1, 2005. She was born Sept. 24, 1937 in Randolph County, Ala. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Weyman W. W. Vining, and a brother, Frank Upchurch. Services were at Brooks United Methodist Church with interment at Antioch Baptist Church cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Frank Tibbetts, Fayetteville; daughters, Koneta Perkins, Fayetteville, Wanda and Rhamy Nipper, Peachtree City, and Kay and Tony Shoaf, Fayetteville; stepchildren, Ricky and Giggie Tibbetts, Newnan, Steve and Denese Tibbetts, Fayetteville, Toni Gail Buford, and John and Cathy Pearce, Waxhaw, N. C., Sherry Tibbetts, Hapeville, and George and Linda Swain, Denver, Colo: grandchildren, Bill and Monica Perkins, Katie and Abby Nipper, and Brent Shoaf; step-grandchildren, Brandie and Kim Colquitt, Ryan and Zachary Tibbetts, Lane and Nicole Tibbetts, Lana Tibbetts, Rob and Ashley Peace, and Samantha and Jack Swain; great-grandchildren, Samantha Colquitt, Kali Tibbetts, Steven Tibbetts, and Noah Tibbetts; brother, Hollis Upchurch and A. G. Upchurch, both of LaGrange; sisters, Doris Dorris, Alpharetta, Bobbie Peavie, Phenix City, Ala., and June Tatum, Valley, Ala.; and an aunt, Robie Rhodes, Huntsville, Ala. Carl J.
