The journey began on Aug. 26 in Peachtree City. The Bears were facing the Peachtree City Packers Stevenson. The Bears won the game by a score of 32-6. The first playoff game was played on Brooks’ home field vs. the Peachtree City Packers Stevenson again. Through a fierce, intense game, the Bears battled it out and won the game 13-6. Now all that was left was the Super Bowl. The Bears were put up against Peachtree City Packers Schmidt. This game had been anticipated all season by both teams. In the first half, the score was tied 7-7. Over half time, the teams went to their huddles and came back fighting hard for the title. The Bears put it all on the line and brought the title to their hands in the fourth quarter. As the Bears always say, “Fourth Quarter-Bears Quarter.” The 9-10 Brooks Bears Black finished the game with a win of 13-7.
