By: John Munford
Sponsors are being sought to help make Christmas special for several needy families in what has become an annual event at Falcon Field in Peachtree City. The Santa’s Copilots program will present gifts to more than 15 kids, including the one special gift they are hoping for. Participants are selected with help from the Fayette County Department of Family and Children Services. The gifts will be presented during a special breakfast at the airport terminal Saturday, Dec. 16. They will be brought in via several aircraft led by the jolly old elf himself: Santa Claus. The cost of sponsoring a child is $120. Interested persons can make out their check to “Santa’s Copilots” and send or deliver it to the airport at 7 Falcon Drive, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269. Donations are due no later than Friday, Dec. 8. login to post comments |
