Mary Ann Watkins-Roach, 54, Jonesboro, died Nov. 6, 2006. She was born Oct. 1, 1952 in Douglas County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Gary Lewis officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. Survivors include daughters, Kimberly and Chris Sturdivant, Fayetteville, and B. J. Watkins, Jonesboro; brothers, Jody and Ludie Crook, and Roger and Sherry Crook, all of Alabama; sisters, Barbara and Rod Rodriquez, Miss., and Evelyn and Don Ledford, Douglasville; a brother-in-law, Richard and Darlene Watkins, Buford; a sister-in-law, Debbie and Bill Meaders, Jonesboro; and special pets, Maisie and Oscar. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
