Dorothy Munroe, 73, Fayetteville, died Nov. 5, 2006. She was born July 10, 1933 in Lineville, Clay County, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Andy Jack Munroe. Services were at the Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Wood and the Rev. Don Ledbetter officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Survivors include sons, Larry and Patricia Munroe, Snellville, and Nathan and Wanda Munroe, Jonesboro; a daughter, Sandra Pyle, Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Winford Wheeles; and sisters, Faye Munroe, Barbara Oglesby, Joyce Cromwell, and Ruby Horsley. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
