The Rotary Club of Fayetteville annually presents awards to individuals in the community who excel in their commitment to their job and to the health, safety and welfare of their community by diligently providing a public service beyond their normal duties. The individuals who were awarded this year include: Teacher of the Year Shelly McLemore; Policeman of the Year JD Lakeman; Fireman of the Year Capt. Steven G. Folden; and Healthcare Person of the Year Gail McNair. All of these individuals were presented a plaque to signify the community’s appreciation.
