It’s all about giving! The gifts come dressed as beautifully decorated theme trees, wreaths, mantle arrangements, decorations and a variety of Christmas collectibles donated by local businesses and individuals in anticipation of the evening auction. This is the twelfth annual Noel November, sponsored by the Fayette County Board of REALTORS®.

Noel November ~ A Celebration of Trees and a Tradition of Giving Back to the Community highlights the ongoing efforts of the REALTORS® responding to the needs of local children’s and senior’s charities. Proceeds benefit the Fayette Youth Protection Home, Promise Place, Heart of Passion, and the Fayette Family Y.M.C.A.

Preparations for this annual fundraising event culminate on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds at 939 Goza Road in Fayetteville. The day long celebration begins with an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. where all are welcome to stroll through the winter wonderland of donated Christmas trees, wreaths, table arrangements and mantle decorations.
Local school and church chorale groups will be featured during the day along with Carla’s Dance Factory who’ll delight all with their holiday performance. Children’s holiday crafts and a visit with Santa Claus including a complimentary photo are also planned. Food and refreshments will be available.

In the evening, the finale is the live auction that showcases the spirit of giving back to our community. The beautifully decorated items are sold one at a time to the highest bidder. This year, the doors will reopen at 6 p.m. Also returning for the second year are players from the Peachtree Wind Ensemble, known as the “Coyote Band”. Conducting the orchestra will be John Miller. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres from “Exclusively Yours” by David Sorrows as you search for that one of a kind Christmas collectible.
