McDonough Road Baptist Church will present award winning soloist David Phelps in concert Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Phelps is a former member of the Gaither Vocal Band.

His audiences have included George W. Bush, massive crowds at Billy Graham crusades, and millions of ABC news viewers. His awards include four Dove Awards and two Grammy Awards.

“David Phelps is an outstanding talent and a gifted artist,” said Mark Karki, minister of music and worship at the church. “We are very fortunate to be able to book him and have him at McDonough Road. This concert will be a real blessing and will help set a great tone for a wonderful Christmas season.”
