Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Sellers Sr. of Peachtree City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” DeMonia Sellers, to Simon Wesley Bowen III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Wesley Bowen, Jr., of Chelsea, Ala.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Florence DeMonia of Hartselle, Ala., and the late Ira Jackson DeMonia of Cullman, Ala., and Mrs. Jean Sellers and the late James Thomas Sellers Sr. of Alexander City, Ala. She was graduated in 2003 from McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and currently is attending Auburn University where she is majoring in interior design.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Littlefield of Dothan, Ala., and Mrs. Christine Bowen and the late Simon Wesley Bowen Sr., also of Dothan. He was graduated in 2001 from Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Ala. He received a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Auburn University in 2005, where he currently is pursuing his master’s degree in computer science and also is a research assistant.

A private, family ceremony is planned for Dec. 16, 2006, at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins, with a reception to follow at the Rhett House Inn in Beaufort, S.C.
