The gym at Palmetto Elementary School overflowed with excitement Oct. 18 as students, teachers, parents, dignitaries and Creekside Beta Club members celebrated the induction of thirteen 5th graders into the Jr. Beta Club for the 2007-2008 school term. Induction into the nationally-recognized organization is based on CRCT scores. Beta’s purpose is to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership and to reward meritorious achievement.
