Peachtree City-based Falcon Air Services is making it easier for Coweta residents who want to learn to fly. The company is opening a flight school at Newnan_coweta Airport later this month, and operations manager Andrea Van Buren said this is the latest expansion of the company. “We’ve opened up new operations at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport and Athens, and we’re really happy about opening in Coweta County,” she said. The company will offer lessons for everyone, including those who just want a private pilot’s license, or those who would like to fly commercially. Falcon Air Services also offesrs an accelerated program that allows a student to be eligible for a corporate pilots’ license in 120 days. Construction will soon begin on a 30,000 sq.ft facility that will offer office and classroom space at the airport. The company features two twin-seater DA20 Diamon Aircraft and will soon be one of the few schools that has a Diamond Twin available for training. login to post comments |
