Irma Jones, 88, Jonesboro, died Oct. 28, 2006. She was born May 27, 1918 in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Jones, a brother, Grady Archer, and a sister, Betty Anderson. Graveside services were at Oak Hill Mausoleum, Griffin, with the Rev. Randall Harris officiating. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the Joseph Sams School. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
