Jen De Boer, an artist from Fayetteville, is making a name for herself online with the help of BoundlessGallery.com, an online art gallery. Recently her work "Umbrella's" was bought by a customer in Massachusetts.

"Finding interested buyers for quality artists like Jen was the inspiration for this site. I make wood furniture myself and know that it's not always easy to find customers even when your work is really good." said BoundlessGallery.com's president, Peter Gregory.

With the help of the internet and sites like BoundlessGallery.com, selling artworks to people all around the world is a real possibility.

“Although I like to paint all kinds of objects, nature is my favorite one, especially people as the crown of God's creation.” De Boer says of her work. “I have been scribbling on pieces of paper as long as I can remember. My parents always encouraged us children (seven) to be creative in our thinking as well as with our hands. Being from the Netherlands (Holland) I have studied the Dutch painters. I admire Rembrandt, the impressionists but also modern art, Willem de Kooning, Corneille of the Cobra movement.”

De Boer came to the United States ten years ago with her own family and took up painting again. She took art classes at Clayton State University and now teaches art classes at her home for young people.
