Opposing Bush doesn’t equal being soft on terror

The statement written that Democrats are bedfellows with the terrorists surely was written by a dimwit with an acid pen and twisted mind who was reared under the “mushroom theory.” In case one doesn’t know, the mushroom theory is where you are kept in the dark and fed horse manure.

I served my country for 20 years service in the USAF. I’m proud to be a Democrat. I resent some chicken hawk stating I’m in bed with a terrorist just because I disagree with the decisions of Bush.

It’s been stated before, but I’ll say it again: Iraq did not attack the World Trade Center; Osama bin Laden did. However, the Bush administration used half-truths [and] lies to influence the Congress and justify his war in Iraq when he should have pursued bin Laden. Bush has destabilized the entire world [with] his action.

Just because I don’t agree with Bush policy doesn’t make me a sympathizer. I just think there is a better solution than going to war with a country that did not attack you. We should be spending our resources on education and immigration problems here at home.

Saddam Hussein is gone; now let’s let the new government of Iraq take charge. Bush has depleted the surplus from the Clinton administration and now we have a deficit exceeding a trillion. I would rather have a president who [had a relationship with] an intern than one who [messed up] my country.

If Trey Hoffman thinks so much of the war, why hasn’t he enlisted to serve in Iraq?
