The Fayette County Health Department has already received some flu vaccine, but all the doses are spoken for as of Tuesday morning, according to County Nurse Manager Carolyn Callison.

More flu vaccine could be coming in any day, though, and interested persons are urged to keep calling the health department to check and see, Callison said. The department’s phone number is 770-460-5730, ext. 5416; a recorded message will be updated when more flu vaccine is available.

The health department cannot make any more appointments for flu shots until more flu vaccine comes in, Callison said.

“We’re telling people to just keep calling,” Callison said.
