St. Gabriel’s sanctuary dedication is Nov. 11

Members of the Catholic Church of St. Gabriel in Fayetteville will realize a long awaited dream when their new sanctuary is officially opened and dedicated Saturday, Nov. 11 by Atlanta Archbishop Wilton Gregory.

The Archbishop will bless and dedicate the permanent church structure in a special Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. A reception and tours of the two-story stone structure will follow the Mass.

St. Gabriel’s is part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, which is made up of 75 parishes and 20 missions in the northern sector of Georgia.

The parish of over 650 families is part of the 367,000 Catholics who comprise the Archdiocese.

The Catholic Church of St. Gabriel is at 152 Antioch Rd., just south of the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 92 South and Antioch Road. Father Jimmy Adams is pastor.
