Send cell phones to soldiers through local church

Fayette Community Church continues to collect cell phones for soldiers in the Middle East. Between Fayette Community Church and Uniglobe McIntosh Travel in Newnan, the group has collected more than 1,000 phones to be recyled. So far, the nationwide program has sent 50,000 prepaid phone cards to the soldiers in Iraq, Afganistan and Kuwait.With the proceeds, voice over IP systems and video phones are being set up across the country and in the Middle East.
