Mr. and Mrs. Jim F. Bobbitt of Peachtree City announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Shelby Nicole Bobbitt, to Joseph Brian Gaydica, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stephen Gaydica III of Southern Pines, NC.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben H. Reynolds Jr. of Peachtree City, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Powell of Fayetteville, and the late James A. Bobbitt Jr. of Fayetteville. She is a 1995 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 1999 graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor of business administration in marketing.

The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Pinecrest High School, Southern Pines, N.C., and a 2002 graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science in commercial recreation and tourism management.

The wedding will be Nov. 11, 2006, at The First Baptist Church in Roswell. The couple will reside in Charleston, S.C.
