The Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Tyrone have appointed William David Mullis to serve as acting Chief of Police during their search for a new Chief of Police. Captain Mullis has been employed by the Town in the Police Department for the past ten years in various capacities. Captain Mullis’s appointment will become effective on November 1, 2006 and he will continue to serve in this capacity until appointment of a permanent Chief of Police.
