Kroger gas pumps approvedTue, 11/15/2005 - 4:58pm

Get ready to gas up at two Kroger grocery supermarkets, the first-ever pumps within big retail parking lots inside Peachtree City. Monday night, the city planning commission approved plans to construct gas pumps at the Braelinn and Kedron Krogers. Both locations will be at the other end of the parking lots, opposite from the stores. The sites were designed with quite a bit of landscaping, and they will be a bit more nicer looking architectural-wise, said City Planner David Rast. The columns will be brick and the canopy will have a pitched roof for a more pleasing look, Rast noted. At the Braelinn Kroger, the gas pumps will be located almost directly across from the Bank of America. The Kedron Kroger pumps will be built near the access drive that serves Wendy’s restaurant. Both developments will be surrounded by landscaping on three sides. The total amount of disturbed area for both projects will be around 40,000 square feet. login to post comments |
