Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will again sponsor the annual Christmas Tour of Homes on Saturday and Sunday, December 2 and 3, 2006, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Gorgeous homes decorated for the holiday season will be featured, and to make holiday shopping a bit easier, a silent auction will be available in the church's Family Life Center on both days.

A wide collection of decorated homes is presented and range from a festival of Christmas trees with a Victorian bedroom filled with antique dolls; a Christmas greetings enhanced by warm colors of green, gold and burgundy accented walls and fabrics giving a traditional stucco home a French provincial personality; a beautiful lakefront home where formal elegance dominates at Whitewater Creek; to a beautiful holiday spectacular home in Woolsey.  Additionally, the elegantly renovated Travis House in downtown Fayetteville will be the fifth treat for this tour.

As in the past, the silent auction will feature numerous unique Christmas gifts from significant sports memorabilia, to weekends at comfortably furnished beach condominiums. Tickets do not need to be purchased for only participating in the silent auction.

Tickets will be available October 25, 2006 at the church office on Lanier Avenue in Fayetteville. Donations of $15 will go to the church's transportation fund.

Transportation will also be available for a nominal fee.

Mark December 2 and 3, 2006 on your calendars now. For more information and ticket information call 770-461-4313.
