A blood drive will be held Oct. 28 at National Heights Baptist Church at 103 Old Norton Road from 9 AM until 3 PM to benefit a Texas man who was struck Sept. 16 by a driver suspected of driving under the influence. Albert is still on life support today. Albert’s brother and Fairburn Police Officer Jacob Trujillo are coordinating blood drives in both states.
