Mae Edwards Coppedge, 92, Peachtree City, formerly of East Point, died Oct. 19, 2006. She was born March 9, 1914 in Saluda County, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Coppedge, and a son, Ed Coppedge. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with the Rev. Dr. Joe Peabody and the Rev. Dr. Al Coppedge officiating. Interment was at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta. Survivors include sons, the Rev. Dr. Al and Beth Coppedge, Wilmore, Ky. And Bob and Beth Coppedge, Atlanta; grandchildren, Laurence Coppedge, KatyBeth Searls, Cricket Albertson, Billy Coppedge, Susannah Chalkley; and nine great-grandchildren.
